imo it's too complex for the majority of the use cases. having BaseClass is something I consider anti-pattern. fun interface things can be simple fun s.

It's simply too complex for such a simple use case. Maybe, but just maybe, it pays off with larger number of functionalities but I doubt. If you get into place you need something like that I think you've done something wrong already.
